These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StreamLux website and the IPTV subscription service we provide (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
StreamLux provides a licensed digital entertainment subscription that allows eligible customers to stream live television channels, on-demand movies, series and sports content distributed through authorised partners. Access to specific channels, libraries and features depends on the subscription plan you select and may change from time to time.
3. Subscriptions, Pricing and Billing
The Service is offered as a prepaid subscription with several durations (currently 1, 3, 6 and 12 months). Prices are displayed on the website at the time of purchase and are inclusive of any taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Subscriptions purchased through the website are one-off, non-recurring unless explicitly described as recurring at checkout. To continue accessing the Service after your subscription expires you must purchase a new subscription.
4. Activation and Account Access
Following a successful payment we will provide activation details (such as login credentials or a setup link) by email, normally within a few minutes. You are responsible for keeping these credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please contact us immediately if you believe your credentials have been compromised.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- resell, sublicense, distribute or otherwise commercially exploit the Service;
- share your credentials with parties beyond your immediate household;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access control, geo-restriction or security mechanism;
- use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of any third party;
- record, copy, broadcast or redistribute any content delivered through the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches this section, without prior notice and without refund.
6. Refunds and Cancellation
Because the Service is digital and access is granted immediately after payment, subscriptions are generally non-refundable once activation details have been delivered. If you encounter a technical issue that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable time, please contact our support team — we will work with you in good faith to find a fair resolution, which may include credit or a partial refund at our discretion.
Statutory consumer rights granted under the law of your country of residence are not affected by this section.
7. Intellectual Property
All content delivered through the Service is licensed from its respective rights holders. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the content for private viewing only. No ownership, copyright or other intellectual property right is transferred to you. The StreamLux name, logo and website design are our property and may not be used without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we work hard to maintain uptime and image quality, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free from viruses or other harmful components. Internet performance, device configuration and third-party platforms are outside our control and may affect playback quality.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamLux will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you becomes commercially unreasonable. On termination for breach, the unused portion of your subscription is forfeited.
11. Modifications to the Service and Terms
We may update or modify the Service (including adding or removing channels and features) and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email, and the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country / Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of [Your City, Country] will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
