Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the activities that are not permitted on the StreamLux platform and the consequences of violating these rules. It applies to every subscriber and every device used to access the Service. The AUP forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited Activities

Customers must not use the Service to engage in activity that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful to others. Without limiting the foregoing, prohibited activities include: redistributing or reselling streams or credentials to third parties; sharing simultaneous-device slots outside the customer's own household; circumventing geographic restrictions imposed by upstream rights holders through technical means designed for that purpose; reverse-engineering the platform; and any use that violates applicable law in the customer's jurisdiction.

A breach of these prohibitions is a material breach of our Terms of Service and may result in suspension or termination of the account, forfeiture of any unused subscription value, and forwarding of relevant information to law-enforcement authorities where required.

2. Abuse Prevention

To protect the platform and its subscribers, we operate automated and manual systems that detect unusual patterns — for example, simultaneous access from a large number of distinct IP addresses, automated scripts hammering the API, or sudden traffic spikes that suggest credential resale. Accounts flagged by these systems may be subject to additional verification or temporary rate-limiting.

If your normal usage is misidentified, please contact support with a short explanation; we resolve false positives quickly and on a case-by-case basis. Repeated abuse patterns, on the other hand, will result in account suspension under the procedure described below.

3. Unauthorized Access

Attempts to access parts of the Service, accounts, infrastructure or data that you are not authorised to access are strictly prohibited. This includes credential stuffing, brute-force attacks on login endpoints, exploitation of vulnerabilities, unauthorised port-scanning of our infrastructure, and any other activity that bypasses or attempts to bypass our security controls.

Suspected unauthorised access is logged and may be reported to the appropriate authorities. If you discover a vulnerability in our platform, please disclose it responsibly via support@streamlux.online with subject line "Security Disclosure" — we appreciate good-faith research and will work with you to resolve issues quickly.

4. Fraudulent Use

Using stolen payment cards, false identity information or fraudulent chargeback claims to obtain or retain access to the Service is strictly prohibited. Accounts associated with confirmed fraudulent activity are suspended immediately, refunds withheld, and details (where lawful) shared with payment processors, anti-fraud networks and law enforcement.

Subscribers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide at checkout. Account-level fraud — for example, multiple accounts created to abuse promotional pricing — is treated under the same enforcement framework as transactional fraud.

5. Spam Prevention

The Service is not to be used to generate, transmit or facilitate unsolicited bulk communications of any kind. This includes using StreamLux credentials, infrastructure or affiliated channels to send spam, phishing messages, or other unsolicited commercial communications.

Inbound spam directed at our support channels is filtered automatically and discarded; only legitimate customer messages reach our team. Customers who report spam or phishing attempts in our name are doing us a real service and we encourage them to forward any suspicious messages to support@streamlux.online.

6. Service Misuse

Customers must not use the Service in ways that materially interfere with the platform's normal operation or the experience of other subscribers. Examples include uploading malicious code, scraping the Service at industrial scale, hosting the Service on commercial premises where it is publicly redistributed (hotels, bars, public venues) without an appropriate commercial agreement, or using the Service in conjunction with hardware modifications designed to compromise it.

If you are operating in a commercial or semi-public environment and want to know whether your use case is permitted, please contact us — we can almost always find a workable arrangement, and a quick conversation is far better than enforcement after the fact.

7. Account Suspension Conditions

Accounts may be suspended without prior notice where (a) we have a good-faith belief that an account is involved in any of the prohibited activities described above; (b) a payment dispute or chargeback has been opened on the account; (c) a credible report of compromise, fraud or abuse is received; or (d) we are required to do so by court order, regulatory action or applicable law.

Where suspension is the result of suspected abuse rather than confirmed wrongdoing, the affected customer is invited to provide context and supporting information. Most suspensions are resolved within 24-48 hours once the underlying question is answered.

8. Enforcement Policy

Enforcement decisions are taken proportionately. First-time, low-severity infractions are typically met with a warning and an opportunity to correct the behaviour. Repeated or severe violations — particularly those involving fraud, unauthorised resale or harm to other users — result in termination of the account without refund and, where appropriate, exclusion from future purchases.

We document enforcement decisions internally and review them periodically to ensure consistency. Customers who believe an enforcement decision was made in error may appeal in writing to support@streamlux.online; appeals are reviewed by a different member of the team than the one who took the original decision.
