Legal & Content Compliance
Last updated: 31 May 2026
This page describes how StreamLux operates as a licensed digital entertainment platform, our intellectual-property obligations, the scope and limitations of the Service, and the responsibilities we share with our customers. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Technology Platform Statement
StreamLux is operated as a technology platform that distributes licensed digital entertainment content sourced through authorised commercial partners and content licensors. We do not produce television channels, films or series ourselves — we deliver them to subscribers through a managed streaming infrastructure under agreements that recognise the rights of the original creators and distributors.
Our role is to provide reliable encoding, transmission and customer-facing applications that allow eligible subscribers to access this content on supported devices. The platform is designed to comply with applicable licensing arrangements, technical standards and consumer-protection laws in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
2. Intellectual Property Notice
All trademarks, service marks, logos, channel names, programme titles and other intellectual property visible on the StreamLux platform belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the Service is for the purpose of identifying content and partners; it does not imply endorsement, partnership or any waiver of rights.
The StreamLux name, logo and original written content on this website are the property of the StreamLux operator and may not be reproduced, modified or used commercially without prior written permission.
3. Third-Party Content Disclaimer
Television channels, films and series accessed through the Service are produced by third parties and delivered subject to the technical and editorial decisions of those rights holders and broadcasters. Programming schedules, channel line-ups, regional availability, language tracks, subtitles and image quality can change at any time at the discretion of the content provider.
StreamLux makes reasonable efforts to maintain availability and quality, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access to any specific channel, programme or feature. Content additions or removals are communicated where commercially practical but cannot always be announced in advance.
4. Regional Availability Disclaimer
Some channels and on-demand titles are licensed only in specific countries or regions. Geographic restrictions, if any, are determined by the rights holder rather than by StreamLux. Customers connecting from regions in which a particular title is not licensed may see that title omitted from their library or may be unable to play it.
The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use in jurisdictions where digital streaming services of this type are lawful. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that their use complies with local law.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StreamLux is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the subscription period in which the claim arose.
Nothing in this notice limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable mandatory law, including consumer-protection legislation in the European Union, the United Kingdom and similar jurisdictions.
6. User Responsibility
Customers are responsible for using the Service in accordance with these notices, our Terms of Service and our Acceptable Use Policy. This includes safeguarding account credentials, ensuring household-only sharing of simultaneous device slots, and refraining from any activity that would interfere with the Service or the experience of other subscribers.
Customers are also responsible for the equipment, software and internet connectivity needed to receive the Service. We provide setup guides and technical support to help with configuration, but we cannot remediate problems caused by the customer's own network, device or third-party software.
7. Copyright Acknowledgements
StreamLux respects the rights of authors, producers, broadcasters and other rights holders, and expects its customers to do the same. We respond promptly to valid copyright notices in accordance with our DMCA Copyright Policy, and we cooperate with legitimate enforcement authorities where required by law.
Any concern relating to copyright should be addressed first to our support team so it can be triaged quickly. We treat all such concerns seriously and confidentially.
8. Compliance Statement
We periodically review the platform's technical, contractual and operational arrangements to maintain alignment with applicable laws, including consumer-protection, data-protection (GDPR / UK GDPR), e-commerce and payment-services regulations. Where local rules require additional disclosures or controls, we update this page and the related notices accordingly.
