DMCA Copyright Policy

StreamLux respects intellectual-property rights and responds to valid notices from copyright owners. This policy explains how to submit a takedown request under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of the United States and equivalent frameworks in other jurisdictions, and how the StreamLux subscriber whose content is affected can submit a counter-notification.
1. Copyright Infringement Notice
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material accessible through the StreamLux platform infringes your copyright, you may notify our designated agent at support@streamlux.online with subject line "DMCA Notice" or via postal mail using the address provided on request.
Notices that are incomplete or that do not contain all of the information described below cannot be processed and will be returned for correction. We respond to properly formed notices within a reasonable timeframe — typically within 5 business days of receipt.
2. Rights Holder Procedure
Submitting a notice on behalf of a rights holder requires identification of the work in question, sufficient information to locate the allegedly infringing material on the Service, and a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
You must also include a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner, and a physical or electronic signature. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice — including for the purpose of harassing a subscriber or competitor — exposes the sender to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and similar statutes elsewhere.
3. Takedown Request Process
On receipt of a valid notice, we will expeditiously disable access to the allegedly infringing material identified in the notice, take reasonable steps to notify the affected subscriber, and forward a copy of the notice (redacted as needed for privacy) to that subscriber so they have the opportunity to respond.
Where the alleged infringement relates to a channel or stream that we obtain from a third-party licensor, we may also forward the notice to that licensor and pause distribution of the stream pending their response. Repeat infringers — subscribers or upstream sources — are dealt with under our repeat-infringer policy described below.
4. Counter-Notification Process
If you are a StreamLux subscriber and you believe that material associated with your account was disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our designated agent at support@streamlux.online with subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification".
A valid counter-notification must contain the information described in 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) — identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, your name, address and telephone number, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or a foreign equivalent), and your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. If the complaining party does not file a court action within 10-14 business days seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore access to the material.
5. Required Information for Claims
Every DMCA notice or counter-notification submitted to StreamLux must include: (a) a physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorised representative; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or the material to be restored; (c) sufficient information for us to locate the material on the Service (for example, a specific channel name, programme title or URL); (d) the sender's contact information (name, address, phone, email); (e) the good-faith statement required by the DMCA; and (f) the perjury statement required by the DMCA.
Notices and counter-notifications that omit any of these elements will be returned for completion. Please do not send other types of legal correspondence, business proposals or general questions to the DMCA address — those messages will be redirected to general support and may experience delay.

Subscribers found to be repeat infringers, on the basis of multiple valid notices substantiated through this process, will have their access to the Service terminated. Maintaining this repeat-infringer policy is a condition of our safe-harbour eligibility and is enforced consistently.
